Dr. Stephen Krashen
Stephen Krashen, a leading expert in the field of linguistics, is professor emeritus in the Rossier School of Education's Language and Learning Department at the University of Southern California. His research over the past 20 years focused on reading and language acquisition which lead to over 350 publications in the areas of second language acquisition, language development, and bilingual education. Dr. Krashen’s empirical findings in support of reading galvanized his role as a reading activist, and as an advocate of public and school libraries.
